#1 For this week’s discussion, I would like you to
research the topic of “terminal values” of cash flows used in discounted
cash flow analysis and business valuations. (Note: you will see this
topic in more detail in the on-line chapter 18 regarding business
valuations and terminal value calculations are very commonly done in
today’s finance world)Discuss the most common and
current real-life uses of terminal values in cash flow analysis, and
the pro’s and con’s of this calculation process.

#2 In respect to your lessons to date on strategic planning, capital
budgeting and financing, please discuss the various members of hospital
administration, the local health care market at large (ex. non employed
physicians, insurers, etc) and other stakeholders or interested parties
that you feel you should include as members of your project team or use
as resources for analyzing and making your decision whether or not to
proceed with Case 21— Traditional Project Analysis. DO NOT DISCUSS
and specific financial details of the case in this discussion nor any of
you finding or conclusions regarding your decision to proceed or not to
proceed with this project. Approach this Discussion as you would if
you are just starting to define the Project in question, its purpose and
value, and in order to formulate your Project/Investment Analysis Team.
