1. Dark Web:
Law enforcement and intelligence agencies use the Dark Web to find criminals who are willing to
sell anything from weaponry to malware to hit men.
Your research paper will include the following information:
• Identify ways in which it might be possible trace a suspect through an IP or other leaked
information;
• Detail how to build a Website within Tor;
• Provide solutions about how to take a Tor Website down, i.e. without the owner’s
permission;
• Identify areas of the Dark Web frequented by certain groups, like hackers, carders
(credit/debit cards for sale), drugs, firearms, etc. Create a database of these categories and
associated sites.

What you will have to do is: 

Team Project Status Report #1 – research results and tool test results

This report must include actual research results and tool test results. This means that you should send a Word document with a number of pages detailing the experiments that you have conducted and include screenshots showing your use of various tools.

Team Project – Team Paper formatting and content requirement

Starting with the Status Report #1, Team Project submission must include:

Title Page. It should have a title of your presentation, list of team members, course name and date. You should not put a page number on it

Contribution list

This page should be placed after the title page, and should list each participant in a separate line, and his/her contribution to the project so far, including page numbers and chapters/subchapters. Members include: (Sukhpreet Singh Brar, Raj Pitamber, Alondra Merino, Peter Hernandez, Ravindra Dholariya). 

For instance:

Alexander Tsekhansky: Abstract (p 3), Chapter 1 – …, Chapter 3.2 – …., References

Table of Contents. I suggest using automated tools, such as the ones included in MSWord, to build it

Abstract. This chapter should be placed at the beginning of your paper, and should have a brief summary what your research is about. You do not need to provide details or analysis there. It should be on a separate page (Page #4 if you count the Title Page, Contribution List and Table of Contents)

Main paper. It should be divided into chapters/subchapters, with clear transition between each section. Please, make sure that all Figures/screenshots have proper caption and references if needed, all formatted per APA or MLA guidelines

Conclusion. This should be the last chapter, just before the References section. It should specify what did you accomplish in a course of your research.

References. It should provide proper citations in MLA or APA format, sorted in alphabetical order. Please, do NOT use Wikipedia or discussion forums as references. Try using peer-reviewed or other academic sources wherever possible.

Page numbers. All pages except the Title page must have page numbers.

Fonts. Please, use uniform fonts, margins and formatting throughout the paper. I suggest using a sample paper as a template for that.

Figures and Tables. All content taken from other sources must be properly cited. That means if the figure is not drawn by you, I expect to see a citation. All figures and tables must be referred to in the text of your paper, and must illustrate some point you’re making. Please, do not put figures in your work just for cosmetics.
